Week 3 9/27/23
Hey everyone!
I feel like I just barely wrote my last email, but don't even worry I've still got plenty to write about!
Literally the most insane thing happened, after a crazy turn of events, my awesome companion got asked to share her and her family's conversion story in the CCM presidency's meeting. So on Monday we went and she shared her story with all of the presidency and their wives, while I just sat there looking pretty haha. But she absolutely killed it, she even got the President of the CCM to cry cause the spirit was SO strong! I'm seriously so grateful for her and her example to me! But I am a little nervous, cause now we're a little too close to the "big dogs" as they called themself hahah. So hopefully we can just lay low for the rest of our time here.
Some highlights+photos:
Tienda runs are absolute lifesavers
- Élder Archunde letting his dawg's cook on the pickleball court. We were undefeated though, so I guess it worked
Hermana Karren and I's really cute gym fits
- The one day I actually did my hair this week, so of course we had to document it

Spiritual thought:
This week our district really focused on being united in Christ, so in my personal study one day I read the talk, One in Christ, by Elder D. Todd Christopherson in last April's general conference. The whole talk is so good so go read it! But I especially liked the line,
- "And I suppose an even more perfect unity would obtain among us if we followed the Savior’s higher and holier expression of this second commandment—to love one another not only as we love ourselves but as He loved us."
He loved us perfectly, so much so that He was willing to suffer and die for us. If we could love each other even half as much I know the world would be a whole lot more united. So I challenge you guys to try to follow this "higher and holier expession" and pray to love someone as much as He loves you!
Also, make sure to watch general conference this weekend!! We really are so blessed to have modern day prophets! I promise all of you that if you go into it with questions and a prayer in your heart, you'll be able to hear Him speak to you!
I love and miss you all so much!
