San Fran! 1/18/24

So basically so much has happened in the week and a half that I don't even know where to start!

We had a conference with Elder Costa! It was seriously soo good! Afterwards we had a little meeting with only the hermanas and hermana Costa which was literally incredible! I always love conferences, but this one was by far the most spiritually uplifting experiences I've had so far!

Brahian got baptized!!! This was seriously a miracle, basically everything that could go wrong, went wrong. But in the end it all came together perfectly!!

We put a fecha on our friend Alma!! Her mom is an inactive member, and her grandparents are both members. And she is sooo excited to get baptized!!

On tuesday night I found out that I'm leaving Santa Rosa to go to San Francisco! (Argentina not California:)) and my new comp is hna grimshaw! She's seriously the cutest! This is her last transfer which is loco! And we're white washing an area that had elders before! Overall I'm super sad to leave Santa Rosa and all of the awesome people there, but I'm soo excited for this transfer!! Other than the fact that apparently our pension has a cockroach problem 🫠

As sad as I was to leave Santa Rosa, it meant that I got to sign the bat so I was very excited!

Last night we went to say goodbye to the Aguirre's and they told us that they finally picked a date to get married!! I was literally speechless! I have been praying for months that they'd be able to get their papers, put a date, and get married, and the day before I leave I get my answer! God's got a plan fr!

Some things I learned this transfer:

  • Orange rolls are freaking hard to make

  • I can actually form sentences in spanish that mostly make sense!

  • I only know how to make breakfast food

  • PATIENCE

  • I don't like being late

  • The pension in Santa Rosa is very easy to break into

  • Brazilian stroganoff is fuego

  • If you think celestial, you'll feel celestial, so you'll act celestial!

Overall, a super crazy but good week! I've learned a whole bunch about trusting in God's timing, and that if I give my all, even if it's not perfect, God will help do the rest!

Eso no más! Les amo!! Chau!
