santa vaca!🐄🤠 2/29/24

I think I've got more pictures from this past week than the rest of this transfer combined. So if you can make it to the end of this email I'll be highly impressed!

Last Monday we had an hermana p-day! All of the hermanas met up in Córdoba to play some games, hang out, and have a little conference after! It was seriously so fun!

Me and Hna Gerstner seriously took the whole mother daughter thing seriously and showed up in quite literally the exact same outfit, I still have no clue how that happened

Found out Carson is going to Mendoza!! Argentina doesn't know what the Milne fam's got coming 🤠

Ynes got baptised!! After a whole rollercoaster of emotions last week, on Tuesday Ynes decided she was ready! So we got to work planning everything and on Friday she got baptized! Her family came and none of them are members so it was soo cool!

Selena accepted a baptism date! A couple of weeks ago, an inactive member who we'd been trying to meet with just showed up at church with her 3 kids! Turns out that 2 of the kids aren't baptized, and one of them, Selena, told us without us even asking she wanted to get baptized! So we set a fecha and have been getting her all ready! She’s actually the best, she comes to church every week with her family, and is reading the Book of Mormon! Her sister, Laila still isn't quite ready to put a fecha but is super excited to get baptized too!!

Had my last Sunday with Hna Grimshaw😭 I seriously am so grateful for her and all of the things she taught me this transfer! Having to kill someone is so bittersweet, knowing that she's going to be with her family is so exciting, but all of the goodbyes are so sad! 6 weeks just isn't quite long enough🫶

Sunday it poured rain, so very few people could make it to church, but the people who couldn't make it in person watched it on zoom and it ended up being such a good sacrament meeting!

My boots weren't quite high enough to cross the street and got nice and full of water😅

Then we had Lidia accept a baptism date! The elders before us found her but had to stop teaching her because she asked for some time. We decided to go visit her and see what's up, and she's actually so awesome! From the first time we talked to her she was teaching everyone who would listen the things she learned saying “WE believe…” When we talked to her about baptism, she agreed without a second thought!

And to end off the week we had transfers! I'm staying in San Fran and my new comp is hermana Mascarenhas! She's from Brazil and is seriously so awesome! She speaks perfect English and loves the rodeo! 🤠 So this next transfer is for sure gonna be a party!!

This week has seriously been full of miracles! I have seen God working in the hearts of soo many people. That’s by far been the best thing of the mission, watching the gospel change people's lives! To see how every time you walk in a house, there's a little more peace there. And to watch as people recognize the change that has happened. It's also crazy seeing how there genuinely are so many people being prepared to receive the gospel, God has been working on their hearts for years, we just have to go find them where they're at and help guide them along!

Anyways, I'm out of ganas to write, but I love and miss you all so much! Thank you for all of your emails, sorry if I haven't been able to respond yet, but know that I read and appreciate all of them so much!!

Have the best week ever!!
