"Have good pan" 10/7/24

I just know you're all probably so sick of me saying this, but this week was actually insane. As I explained to Hermana Ashton in her training, the weeks in the mission that are “normal” are very rare. Here's some quick stats from this very not normal week:

☆ 5 days with an 1+ bus ride

☆ 2 complete days working in our area

☆ 6 laugh attacks in the middle of contacts/lessons

☆ 1 remi driver who got baptized in an evangelical church for a chori pan

☆ 1 box of 19 Book of Mormons carried all over Córdoba

☆ 139638+ times listening to the song “mejor que ayer” by diego torres

Some highlights:

☆ Last monday we had leaders council, talked a lot about high expectations and high love

☆ In the leaders conference on Monday, the APs asked us if we could do a 25 minute presentation in the zone conference on Wednesday about the baptismal invitation. Tuesday we used our comp stud to get all prepped, and then on Wednesday 5 minutes before the presentation they told us that we only had 10 minutes🫠 I actually couldn't tell you what we said in those 10 minutes, but we somehow made it through the whole presentation which was a straight up miracle🙌

☆ After zone conference we spent the whole afternoon traveling to Bell Ville! It's about a 4 hour bus ride. We sat down and after a few minutes the dude sitting across from us leaned over and asked my comp if her name is Pinar (it is). Turns out she had taught him one time over video call a year ago! At the time he wasn't interested at all. We started talking about God, and about the mission and why we're here! I gave him a Book of Mormon and invited him to read it! Friday morning we got a text from the hermanas where he lives telling us that he had texted them with a photo of the Book of Mormon we gave him!!

☆ Thursday morning we got to work! I went with Hermana Arnold who's a capa!

☆ During lunch we traveled another hour to Marcos Juarez to do intercambios with the hermanas there! I was reunited with Hermana Huaraca (mi hijita amada) for the afternoon!

Friday morning we traveled back to Oncativo where we ran around making sure all our friends (who we'd basically abandoned all week😅) were good to watch general conference!

Sunday we visited our friends, put conference on for them, watched it with them for a minute and then ran to the next family! It really made me think about how special it is that we have the opportunity to hear from a living prophet! In all the craziness of the world it gives me so much peace to know that God gives us so many guides to help us out! He really does hear and answer our prayers!

If for whatever reason you didn't have the chance to watch conference, I invite you to go watch it!! I promise you'll receive the answers to your questions!!

Love you all!! Have the best week!!

♡ Hermana Milne!
