FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!

Some highlights from the week:

☆ POV: us outside your door hiding in the shade waiting for you to answer 👭🏼

☆ Went to Rio Segundo for district council and got absolutely drenched

☆ Left a note for some members! Their window was open, so we turned it into a paper airplane and threw it inside!

☆ Last night we had dinner with some members! It was basically the Christmas dinner from every movie ever, the crazy aunt who doesn't stop bringing up controversial topics, the cute little grandma, the dad who's fed up with everyone's crap, and the kids who are just there for the show! It was the best!!!

Some quotes without context:

• Ey yo, flaca divina

• I actually do not have eyeballs

• No creo en papá Noel ni nada de eso

• No soy testigo pero..

• Tengo un hijo de 8 años, el reza. Pueden

hacerlo con el?

• Es de la presidente de la nación de argentina

• Yo le pegaria a este

• She is not a pickleball player

• El grinch era más amable que vos

• YO LO VI A JESUS HACE POCO

This has definitely been a different Christmas from what I had planned or expected.

I was reminded of what it means to mourn with those that mourn and comfort those that stand in need of comfort. To really serve others and try to share the love and light of Christ with others as they pass through a dark moment.

For the first time in a minute, I was able to genuinely forget about myself, and focus on helping others. And even though it wasn't full of gifts or games, it was a Christmas that I'll never forget.

“And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God.

And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.

And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.”

♡Alma 7:10-12

I know that Christ is our redeemer, the literal son of God. That because he lived, died, and was resurrected we will all be able to be reunited with our loved ones again. That he suffered every pain, illness, trial, temptation, or affliction that we will ever have to face so that we don't have to face them alone. He knows and loves us perfectly. He knows exactly what we need, and is full of mercy.

I hope you've all had an amazing Christmas, full of light and joy! But for those who might be feeling a little more in the dark, I hope you know that there is hope. That Christ is still there, that he loves you, and that he will never leave you alone. Trust in him, and trust in all of the tools he uses to help us, including those around you 🫶

I love you all so much!! Make this week the best week ever!
