Some highlights from the week!

 Zone conference!! 

☆ We had to wait a while for our bus, so we helped clean everything up and Pres and Hna Zanni offered to drive us to the terminal! We stopped for snacks on the way 

☆ One of the funky door designs here in Oncativo, on the bright side, they could have a kiddy pool right outside their door if they really wanted to. And they always get their steps in 

☆ Had some fun rainy days! Friday we ended up completely soaked.

☆ Sunday we were supposed to have the baptism of Genaro. He's the dad of another recent convert who's been coming the last few weeks! Sunday morning he was already to go, he even had his towel and everything. He had told us that he was gonna go travel to Tucuman after his baptism. And was so excited to “travel baptized”. Church starts and his son shows up, but Genaro never does. We call and text him and he never responds. After sacrament meeting his son went back home to see what happened, and both Genaro and his bag packed with his clothes for his trip were gone.

☆ Our only friend who's not a 20 year old man

☆ Today we got together as a district for an asado It was solid, but nothing comes close to the asado of hno Sarmiento 

This week has really shown me how much I've grown over the past year, even though basically everything turned out differently than we had planned, I was able to find joy in the small things every day. To trust more in God and His plan, doing everything I can possibly do and leaving the rest in his hands. 

Sunday we had 2 baptisms fall through, but even though on paper it looked like the worst day ever, I saw God working through everything! Pres and Hna Zanni came to speak in our branch, which was soo good! I love them so much and am so grateful for all their advice and support. We also had this random dude show up to church! Saturday night he responded to Hna Smith's post on FB about church on Sunday, we sent him the address and everything and he came! Turns out his mom had told him about us and he wanted to contact us but didn't know how. He couldn't find us on Instagram, so he downloaded Facebook just to get in touch with us!! He came to church and loved it! He knew one of the recent converts so they stayed and talked for a while! And he told us he's gonna invite his grandma next week!
