Some highlights:
Zone conference!!! Talked a lot about the doctrine of Christ and the importance of having the spirit!
☆ After zone conference we took a 6 hour bus ride to Marcos Juarez for intercambios!
☆ Got a little chilly on the bus and had to get creative, luckily we had a whole weeks worth of clothing packed
☆ On Thursday we worked with the hermanas in Marcos Juarez in the morning, and then during lunch took another bus to Bell Ville to have intercambios with the hermanas there!
☆ We got on the bus, and as we pulled out, we realized we had left the phone in the hermanas pension
So we had a nice phone free bus ride to Bell Ville. Then with a lot of help from God (and the random lady we stopped in the street) we were able to find the pension of the other hnas
had a fuego intercambio and traveled back to Oncativo (without a phone) Friday morning!
☆ Lunch with the Sarmiento family >>> I've officially gone 3 straight weeks with an asado on sunday
This week they even got us ice cream, highkey blessed
☆ Watched the video “A shower of heavenly blessings” after lunch, and then the hno told us to come outside to take a picture
☆ I have been mastering my paper snowflake making abilities. Our pension might just end up looking like the toy store in Elf at this rate
By the end of the week, I genuinely felt like I was sleepwalking. I was mentally and physically exhausted from all the traveling and lack of sleep.
In the zone conference President Zanni asked us how the apostles, who are old men, are able to travel the world, working constantly, or to sit during 10 hours worth of general conference. He explained that they are able to do it because they are full of the spirit.
I was able to experience first hand that if I was working to have the spirit with me, it didn't matter how tired I felt, I could do what I needed to. I could talk to someone in the street in coherent spanish, invite people to get baptized, and serve others!
Love you all so much!! Make this week the best ever!
