Intercambios with Hna Blazzard!!
☆ Someone accidentally broke the door handle of the chapel…
☆ Went to Laguna Larga, one of the other little towns in our area! A member from Córdoba sent us the information of one of his friends who lived there. We went to visit her and we had a really good lesson!
☆ Found out where Facundo lives!!! Facundo is one of our friends who we found on Facebook! He has come to church twice and really likes it! But he is superrr suspicious of everything and won't give us his address
This week we were just walking down the street and we saw him outside of a house. As soon as he saw us he booked it, but he couldn't get the door open, poor dude was stressin haha. We just walked by like nothing happened to not scare him too bad, but you better believe that we're gonna be knocking some doors on that street this week ;)
☆ This year marks 100 years since there have been missionaries in South America! To celebrate they have a bunch of activities planned throughout the year. This week's church meeting was all focused on missionary work! They had all the members who had served missions share their testimonies!
☆ Extended our stake boundaries
We found this dude on Facebook who wanted to get baptized! He lives in the town next to us, but it's technically part of another ward that's a lot further away. We talked to one of the members in our branch, who's in the stake presidency. And within a couple hours he texted us saying that he talked to the stake president and our mission president and got the boundaries changed! So Oncativo just got a little bit bigger, and Ezequiel is gonna get baptized this Sunday!
These last couple of weeks have been so good!! Lot's of hard work in the heat. We have a lot of friends right now who are genuinely looking for the truth, they're asking questions, and they're willing to act to get the answer. It's made me think a lot about how I look for the answers to my questions. Am I actively searching for the truth? Praying to God to know and listening for his answer? It's easy to fall into the routine of things, but God wants us to keep learning and growing. That can't happen if we're not actively strengthening our testimonies through study and prayer.
I invite all of you to make an effort this week to search for the truth. Maybe it's a question you've had for a while. Or maybe it's just something you want to learn more about. But pray and ask God for his help, and then search in the right places. Read the scriptures, read conference talks, and other approved sources. And when you think you've found what you're looking for, pray again and ask God to confirm the answer you got. Maybe you won't find exactly what you want, or be able to understand everything perfectly. But your faith will be strengthened, and God will answer you.
Sorry I'm so bad at responding to emails, but thank you so much for writing me!! I always love reading what's going on in your lives!
Love you all so much!!! Have the best week ever!!!
