Wow what a week. ☆ We went to San Francisco for intercambios!! I was there for 4 months so I was soo excited to get to go back!! I got to see so many people that I love so much. It literally felt like a dream, we visited so many people I had taught and to see them going strong makes me so so happy! ☆ Sunday we had stake conference in Córdoba! So the whole ward went in trafis together! We helped Federico (amigo) and Denisse (menos activo) to go which was a miracle! ☆ Angelo (in the front) got asked to share his testimony in the stake conference!! He got baptized 3 months ago! He shared his experience and how he is preparing to serve a mission! ☆ GOT TRANSFER NEWS!!  I got transferred to Oncativo, which is a little pueblo like an hour and a half outside of Córdoba!  ☆ Said goodbye to all the people I've grown to love these last few months!  ☆ My new comp is Hermana Pinar! We lived together in San Francisco for a transfer, and literally always joked that someday we'd be comp...

Hey guys I'm back! I've taken barely any pictures of the last few weeks, and I genuinely don't remember half the stuff we did, so sorry this email lowkey sucks  Some quick highlights: ☆ Last week we threw a birthday party for President Nelson, complete with a cake and piñata!    ☆ Mastered the bus schedules traveling to our friends that live in one of the pueblitos in our area!   ☆  1 year!!  I actually can't believe I've spent a whole year being “Hermana Milne”. We got some Gridos to celebrate! ☆ Had 2 new friends show up to church! Which is seriously a miracle! We have so many friends who are so awesome, but they all have something preventing them from getting baptized right now. I've been praying real hard lately to help me manage taking care of the friends we already have, and finding new people that are being prepared! God always answers our prayers! I LOVE THE MISSION!   Every single day I get asked the question “y le gusta?” (Do you like it?) an...

Sorry I so procrastinated writing this, but here's a quick update! We've started going to one of the small towns in our area to teach a few friends there, and ended up finding a whole family who are so elegidos. They just moved here and want to go to church and get baptized! Please pray for them that they can save up enough money for the bus tickets to go to church! ☆ To break our fast on Sunday I whipped up some tomato soup and we made grilled cheese sandwiches and ate as a district in the chapel! ☆ The whole welcome crew in action every sunday morning before church! ☆ My back has been acting up lately so I finally gave in and decided to see what's up, today by a miracle when I went to get an appointment they had an opening right when I got there!   ☆ My bones, if anyone knows how to read this thing and tell me what's wrong I'd greatly appreciate it! Overall this week was so good! We worked a lot, found some awesome people, and saw lots of awesome changes in our fr...

Some highlights from this week!: Yesterday we went to look for a gray point named Veronica. She was sitting outside on her porch, and we couldn't even say anything to her before she stood up, told us to come in and got us some water. She’s super catholic, and one of the nicest people I've met!  ☆ Sunday after church we got a text from President Zanni, it turns out Carson is serving in his brother's ward in San Juan! The world really is so small!  ☆ Today we decided hiking in our area every day wasn't enough and went to hike to the cross! It was actually so fun 10/10 would recommend! This was one of those weeks when it feels like nothing you do works out the way you want it to. On Friday I was exhausted, it feIt like no one was really progressing and I didn't know what to do. I realized I had been relying a lot upon my own abilities, at this point in the mission I know how to do almost everything. I can plan a good day pretty quickly, teach a good lesson, and walk al...

Tea time! 8/20/24

This might have been one of the weirdest weeks of my whole mission, somehow every single day something crazy came up! But it was so fun! While we waited for our greenies we hung out in Chacabuco and had an absolute party! We went to the mall for lunch, got pedicures, and made some bracelets for our hijas! ☆ Hermana Jensen whipped up some fettuccine alfredo ☆ Wednesday we got to go see the temple! It was definitely much needed! ☆ After our remi driver missed the turn like 4 times, we made it to the dinner with all the newbies. When we got there all the trainers had already started singing called to serve and so we went  running  to join in. It was quite the entrance ☆ I got my new comp!! Her name’s Hermana Ashton and she's the cutest ever! ☆This transfer both Hermana Gerstner and Hermana Pingry went home so I'm officially an orphan  ☆ Butttt on Friday Hermana Gerstner's family came to have lunch with us! It was actually surreal to be with them, my family had met up with th...

I'm back! Sorry I've been so bad at writing lately, but I'm not gonna say I'll get better because I'm not gonna make promises I can't keep, But these last few weeks were a party! I can't believe how fast time is flying by! Some highlights: Ate feijoada (Brazilian food) with the Carvalho family!!  After hours and hours of painting, cutting, and stressing we finished the mural!! Every companionship in the mission was assigned one part to paint, and then we put them all together! I have to admit I was surprised that it turned out. There's some abstract colors, but overall for having a bunch of elders paint I couldn't have asked for much better  Intercambios con Hna Alves! Had a p-day with all of the hermanas in the mission! I pulled out a w in one of the most intense games of chair soccer I've ever played We made some fun district t-shirts! We did surprise intercambios with the hermanas in Unquillo, and they don't have a place to stay in their p...
